The course was designed by the English architect Ken Cotton and superbly laid out in 1967 amidst the splendid greenery of a centuries-old pinewood and lush Mediterranean scrub. Today it is part of the San Rossore Natural Park. A few years ago it was voted the best course in Italy by Golf Digest magazine. A garden where sport and relaxation have found their home. Its nine holes, with a total length of 3.030 mt kept in superb conditions all year round and provide a fair test for players of every level.

Tee Times are free (no booking needed )except on tournament days. Guests and tourists are welcome; players registered with the Italian Golf Federation or similar foreign affiliations are allowed access to the course, which is pet friendly too. The elegant Club House sits in the lush green surroundings of the Golf Club. It overlooks the start of Hole 1, whose fairway can be viewed from the spacious and bright terrace .
