Welcome to the Gut Leimershof golf course

Our course is located directly at the gates of the World Heritage city of Bamberg on the listed Gut Leimershof estate. Away from any road or traffic noise, the golf course is embedded in the typical Franconian hilly landscape and surrounded by forest on three sides. Each of the 18 holes offers ever-changing views of the marvellous landscape and the almost 900-year-old Giechburg castle.

The layout of the 18-hole championship course was designed by golf course architect Dieter R. Sziedat in 1984. It offers both ambitious golfers and amateur golfers an enjoyable and always fair game. A round of golf on the partly hilly course is an unforgettable experience for every golfer thanks to its slopes, numerous bunkers, water hazards and undulating greens. Our catering facilities with a sun terrace offer the opportunity to round off a round of golf in a relaxed atmosphere. The Gut Leimershof golf course creates all the conditions for a golfing and culinary experience for you and your friends.
