Eine Oase der Entspannung inmitten der Natur der Monferrato-Hügel

Inmitten der grünen Hügel des Monferrato öffnet sich wie durch Zauberei ein Tor zu einer langen, wunderschönen Allee, die von alten Kastanienbäumen beschattet wird. Die Villa Carolina liegt inmitten eines jahrhundertealten Parks zwischen den Dörfern Capriata d’Orba und Castelletto d’Orba, der seit über zweihundert Jahren seinen romantischen Charme und die magischen Farben der Natur bewahrt hat. Der 1991 gegründete Golfclub verfügt seit 2015 über zwei 18-Loch-Plätze, beide Meisterschaftsplätze.

La Marchesa

Der Platz „La Marchesa” wurde von Cornish & Silva Inc. Golfcourse Architects USA entworfen und liegt vor der malerischen Kulisse üppig grüner Wälder und des schnell fließenden Albedosa-Baches. Er hat 18 Löcher, eine Gesamtlänge von 6.161 Metern und ein Par von 72. Der Platz liegt in einer ebenen Fläche mit viel Platz. Die Löcher 10, 11 und 12 bilden die „Amen Corner” des Platzes, die die Konzentration der Spieler auf die Probe stellen und wenig Raum für Fehler lassen.

Paradiso-Platz

Der Paradiso-Platz wurde vom Architekten Graham Cooke entworfen. Die ersten 9 Löcher wurden 2006 eingeweiht, während die Arbeiten an den nächsten 9 Löchern 2014 abgeschlossen wurden, wodurch Villa Carolina zu einem der wenigen Clubs in Italien mit zwei 18-Loch-Meisterschaftsplätzen mit insgesamt 36 Löchern wurde. Der Paradiso ist ein sehr technischer Platz, der große Präzision erfordert. Der Platz unterscheidet sich vom La Marchesa-Platz dadurch, dass er rauer ist und die Grüns tückischer sind. Der Paradiso-Platz war vom 20. bis 23. September 2016 Austragungsort der 40. PGAI-Meisterschaft und des prestigeträchtigen XIV Fondazione Vialli e Mauro Golf Cup-Turniers zugunsten der ALS-Forschung.

Das Resort

Im Rahmen eines Projekts zur Erweiterung des Villa Carolina Golf Clubs wurde ein exklusives Resort mit 64 Zimmern gebaut, das allen Bedürfnissen und Komfortansprüchen gerecht wird und inmitten der grünen Umgebung des Paradiso-Platzes liegt. Neben 36 fantastischen Grüns verfügt der Club über zwei Tennisplätze, einen Sommerpool, eine Bar und ein Restaurant sowie einen Fitness- und Wellnessbereich.

An Oasis of relexation immersed in the nature of the Monferrato Hills

Amidst the green hills of Monferrato, a gate opens, as if by magic, onto a long and beautiful avenue, shaded by ancient horse chestnut trees. Villa Carolina is located in the centre of a centuries-old park, located between the villages of Capriata d’Orba and Castelletto d’Orba, that has preserved its romantic charm and the magical colours of nature for over two hundred years. The Golf Club, founded in 1991, has had two 18-hole courses since 2015, both championship courses.

La Marchesa

The “La Marchesa” course was designed by Cornish & Silva Inc. Golfcourse Architects USA and is set against the scenic backdrop of lush green forests and the swift moving Albedosa stream. It has 18 holes, a total length of 6,161 metres and par 72. The course lies in a level area with plenty of space.
Holes 10, 11 and 12 form the “Amen Corner” of the course, which test players’ concentration and leave little room for error.

Paradiso Course

The Paradiso Course was designed by the architect Graham Cooke. The first 9 holes were inaugurated in 2006, while work on the next 9 holes was completed in 2014, which placed Villa Carolina among one of the few clubs in Italy with two 18-hole Championship Courses for a total of 36 holes. The Paradiso is a highly technical course which requires great precision. The course differs from the La Marchesa Course because it is rougher and the greens are more treacherous. The Paradiso Course was the venue for the 40th PGAI CHAMPIONSHIP from 20 to 23 September 2016 and the prestigious XIV Fondazione Vialli e Mauro Golf Cup event in aid of ALS research..

The Resort

An exclusive 64 room resort has been built as part of a project to expand the Villa Carolina Golf Club designed to meet every need and comfort, amidst the greenery and surrounding nature of the Paradiso Course. In addition to 36 amazing greens, the club has two tennis courts, a summer swimming pool, a bar and restaurant and a gym and wellness centre.
