The history of our golf club began on 8 May 1932 in Brno. The first six holes were created on a military training ground. Following collaboration with golf course architect Josef Charvát, the Brno Golf Club was founded on 19 October 1936. After a long break in the 1960s, the club resumed its activities with the support of Otakar Mikš, Zdeněk Přikryl and Jaroslav Bouček, but not in Brno, but in Svratka, where a nine-hole course was gradually built. The Brno Golf Club 1932 was renamed the Svratka Golf Club 1932 in 2005.
The course is located in the Ceskomoravska region, a very mountainous landscape. The fairways are bordered on either side by dense forest, which makes teeing off very interesting.
