The Golf & Country Club Schloss Pichlarn, which celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2022, has a proud history as the organiser of many major national and international tournaments. This includes the one in 1985, where the then reigning Masters champion Bernhard Langer set a course record of 66 strokes on the original par 72 course, which remained unrivalled for more than 25 years.
