The surroundings of Nová Bystřice lie in the picturesque landscape of South Bohemia with its extensive forest complexes, numerous ponds and rocky hedges with large granite boulders. This area is called Bohemian Canada not only because of the natural character of the landscape, but also because of the somewhat harsher climate. Silence reigns here – only you, golf and nature create a marvellous setting for a pleasantly spent day surrounded by forests and small ponds. The course is pleasant, not very demanding, rather a tactical game is required here. Every hole is different and so you experience a golf story of its own with 18 chapters. The GolfResort Monachus offers everything you could expect from a golf resort. Part of the resort is also the spacious clubhouse with restaurant, terrace, reception, pro shop and other facilities. Driving range, putting and chipping green are a matter of course, where players with a paid green fee can practise before the game completely free of charge.
