The golf course, built in 1988, is one of the most interesting courses in Bavaria. The Minoritenhof estate – hundreds of years old – lies at the gates of the ancient Roman and UNESCO World Heritage city of Regensburg. The 27-hole course is located in the beautiful Danube valley. The first 9 holes are hilly and offer a wonderful view over the entire valley. The second 9 holes are flat and are reminiscent of English parkland with mature trees. The Danube flows directly along the fairways – pure idyll and nature and only 10 minutes by car from Regensburg city centre. In 2015, the course was extended to include its own modern marina. The restaurant is located in the clubhouse, in the vaults of a former schnapps distillery. Here guests can enjoy home-style cooking and round off the day’s golfing on the terrace in the historic courtyard.
