Golfing where the ordinary becomes extraordinary

The GC della Montecchia is located near the spa towns of Abano and Montegrotto. The 27-hole course is always in perfect condition, designed by the famous golf course architect Tom Macauley. As a member of the ‘Leading Golf Courses of Europe’, it has already hosted two Alps Tour tournaments and three Challenge Tour tournaments. The clubhouse and its 2 restaurants (one of which has even been awarded a Michelin star) used to be a tobacco drying plant, impress with their time-honoured furnishings and also attract non-golfing gourmets. The La Montecchia winery owned by the Emo Ca- podilista family, one of the top wineries in the Colli Euganei, is just around the corner. A driving range, pro shop, swimming pool, sauna and solarium as well as a snack bar make for a perfect day of golf.
