The 18+9-hole course is surrounded by stately trees, a waterfall, rugged rocks, small streams and four lakes.

The Sansenhof estate is located in the middle of the Odenwald forest in a varied, gently undulating terrain with numerous water and sand hazards. The elaborate fairway design and, above all, the greens, which are well defended by bunkers and obstacles, make the course challenging.
