Founded in 1933, the Salzkammergut Golf Club is picturesquely situated between Bad Ischl and St. Wolfgang, surrounded by unspoilt nature and a magnificent backdrop! The traditional club offers guests a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains as well as a technically challenging and varied game. Not fashionable and not snobby – but incredibly endearing. Even less good shots are usually forgiven and ball losses are rare. The ‘Ischl greens’ have the best reputation – even beyond the region. Tournaments with world-class players such as Severiano Ballesteros, Mark McNulty and others have contributed to the popularity of the club and golf in the region. After a round, you can relax on the sun terrace and round off a successful day in the Salzkammergut in a cosy atmosphere.
