Golfing at one of Italy's most fascinating courses

Built in the 17th century, the manor house overlooks the crater of an extinct volcano. Originally commissioned by Cardinal Flavio Chigi, the residence is now considered the most charming clubhouse among golf clubs; thanks to the creative ideas of Robert Trent Jones Sr., the crater has been transformed into a challenging golf course with many interesting technical features. The naturally landscaped grounds have been equipped with one hundred and one tricks among centuries-old olive trees, oaks and pines.

The balcony of the clubhouse offers a fascinating and complete panoramic view of the course: the 18 holes can be taken in at a single glance, conveying a feeling of intimacy and atmosphere, while four centuries of history provide shelter within the walls of the clubhouse and the coast glistens in the background.

The charming halls and the magnificent garden terrace are the setting for the creations of our restaurant chef, whose recipes, based on a reinterpretation of regional cuisine, satisfy the tastes of every guest.
