Golf in the hills of Bologna

The Molino del Pero Golf Club, just a few minutes from Bologna, is a technically challenging course, located 300 metres above sea level and stretching over 5,450 metres with 18 holes and a par of 70. What's more, its sheltered location and low altitude mean that golf can be played all year round.

The small, sometimes treacherous greens make the course quite challenging despite the wide fairways. The first 9 holes are characterised by constant slopes and gradients, well-defended greens and pronounced inclines. Among these, the landmark of the Molino del Pero Golf Club is hole 1, which begins in the Savena Valley. It is best known for its steep slope and has often been referred to as "The stairway to Heaven" in international golf magazines. The second 9 holes are longer and more difficult, mainly due to the natural obstacles along the course. All these features make the course extremely enjoyable for both experts and beginners.

The golf club's restaurant has been set up in the former "milling room" and is equipped with the mill's mechanisms, which have been preserved in excellent condition.

Two cosy and meticulously decorated rooms contribute to a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere, perfect for spending an evening enjoying good food. It is also the ideal place for business lunches. It can seat 60 people and is open from Tuesday to Sunday for members and all visitors.
