The Hencse National Golf & Country Club, Hungary’s most romantic golf course, is situated in the heart of the beautiful Zselic region. Hencse opened its doors to golfers in July 1994. The 18-hole par-72 championship course, laid out across 90 hectares of picturesque countryside, stretches over 6,206 metres. The 26,000 trees framing most of the holes, the 80,000 shrubs, the rolling hills, the sand bunkers and the lakes make every hole unique and unforgettable – a rewarding challenge for beginners and experienced players alike. The landscape offers a panoramic view of lush, green countryside teeming with wildlife. Spot carp, catfish and grass carp, as well as hundreds of wild ducks swimming in the lakes! Spot deer and the occasional cross-country golfer, as well as a wide variety of herons, which seem quite unfazed by the migrating storks and the family of swans that return to the course every summer!
