The Tirrenia Golf Club offers a unique golf course, nestled in the tranquillity of a centuries-old pine forest and the lush Mediterranean scrub of the San Rossore Nature Park. Designed in 1967 by
British architect Ken Cotton, the 9-hole course stretches over more than 3,000 metres and harmoniously combines technique, beauty and sporting challenge. Voted Italy's best 9-hole course by Golf Digest magazine, it is the ideal place to enjoy golf in a relaxing yet inspiring environment.
Tirrenia's mild climate and sheltered location – protected from the wind in winter and pleasantly breezy in summer – allow golf to be played all year round. The course is open to all members of the Italian Golf Federation (FIG) and equivalent foreign federations, and is also pet-friendly. The club is characterised by its warm atmosphere and professional management, offering guests a high-quality experience. In addition, there is a 6 km fitness trail in the heart of the Mediterranean forest – ideal for relaxing walks. The elegant clubhouse, surrounded by greenery, houses a bar, a reading room and a renowned restaurant overlooking the fairway of hole 1.
