Traunsee Almtal Golf Club – Welcome to what is probably Austria's friendliest golf club.

Just a 10-minute drive from Gmunden on Lake Traunsee and the nearest motorway junction, the 18-hole GC Traunsee Almtal course is located in the tourist region of the same name on a hill with a magnificent view of the Alpine foothills. Originally founded in 1989 as the sixth golf club in Upper Austria, it celebrated a new start in 2024 – 35 years later. With a length of 4,670 metres for ladies and 5,327 metres for gentlemen, the course offers varied architecture that challenges even experienced golfers time and again. The course offers plenty of interesting challenges for both beginners and advanced golfers. The clubhouse has a small pro shop and spacious changing rooms with showers and lockers. There is also ample parking available, including for motorhome golfers.

After your round, we recommend a visit to the club restaurant "DAS TRAUNSTEIN. Wirtshaus am Kampesberg", where you can indulge in local delicacies and home-style cooking on a beautiful terrace with stunning views and unique sunsets. Hospitality and the well-being of members and guests are just as important here as cosiness. Non-golfers are of course also welcome as guests at any time.
