Welcome to the Gut Leimershof Golf Course
Just outside the gates of the World Heritage city of Bamberg, our course is situated on the listed Gut Leimershof estate. Far from any road or traffic noise, the golf course is nestled in the typical Franconian hilly landscape and surrounded on three sides by woodland. Each of the 18 holes offers ever-changing views of the magnificent landscape and the almost 900-year-old Giechburg Castle.
The layout of this 18-hole championship course was designed in 1984 by golf course architect Dieter R. Sziedat. It offers an enjoyable and consistently fair game for both ambitious golfers and amateur players alike. A round of golf on this partly undulating course is an unforgettable experience for every golfer, thanks to its slopes, numerous bunkers, water hazards and undulating greens. Our restaurant, complete with a sun terrace, offers the perfect opportunity to round off your round of golf in a relaxed atmosphere.
