The Golf & Landclub Ennstal Weissenbach celebrated its 40th anniversary last year, making it the third oldest golf club in Styria. The 18-hole "nature experience" golf course is the only golf course in Europe located in a European nature reserve that is part of the "Natura 2000" project. The quality of the course and the attractiveness of the natural landscape make the Ennstal complete package a thrilling experience. The unique and carefully designed natural island green on hole 5 is a challenge for every player. The absolute highlight is hole 9, which is considered one of the most spectacular par 3s in Austria. The immaculately maintained fairways are often described as the flattest in the Alps – in any case, they are an impressive contrast to the imposing mountain panorama.
